IDFA Reframe Award

Now for the third time I got the opportunity to create the commercial for IDFA Reframe Award. Who Beeld & Geluid is the sponsor of. It is shown during IDFA, the biggest documentary festival in the world, before documentaries nominated for the award that all creatively use archive footage in their film.

We went deep into the archives bringing a lot of lights and equipment in order to bring the Beeld & Geluid archives to life! Everything was shot for real on location and the VFX animations were done in 3D using Blender. More then 300 archive video’s were used to create the archive ‘stream’.
