For Stichting de Noordzee we created a film showcasing the beauty of the North Sea and why it’s worth expanding the protection of nature.


”Our North Sea: if you've been there, you'll return. The beach is a place to relax, and the underwater world is even more beautiful. Anemones, lobsters, fish: the North Sea’s nature is worth protecting.

But the North Sea’s nature is under pressure. For a healthy, resilient and optimally functioning ecosystem in the North Sea, truly protected areas are essential.

Now only five percent of the North Sea is protected against seabed fishing. But we are not there yet: if North Sea’s nature wants to have the opportunity to recover and flourish, we must protect even larger areas.”
